一、教材分析
本单元谈论的中心话题是rules,主要语言功能是谈论并制定

爱因斯坦曾说过:“兴趣是最好的老师。” 兴趣是学习自觉性的起点,是智慧灵感的源泉。本课的对象是刚进初中不久的七年级新生,有部分学生小学并没有学过英语,他们对英语有着极大的兴趣和好奇心。教师应该抓住这个有利因素,注重对学生学习英语兴趣的培养,保持他们强烈的好奇心和旺盛的求知欲。因此,教师在教学过程中要精心设计各种教学活动,积极采用新颖、丰富多彩的教学手段来激发学生的学习兴趣,用兴趣来激活他们的`思维能力,唤起他们的学习注意力,进而充分调动学生的学习积极性和主动性,让他们积极参与到教学中去,真正成为一堂课的主人。俗话说:“良好的开端是成功的一半。”七年级英语教学是整个初中英语教学的基础,让学生迈好英语学习的第一步,对培养学生学习英语的能力和促进学生的个性发展有着很大的帮助。
七年级学生的心理和生理特点:心理上,他们好动、好奇、好表现。抓住这一心理特点,积极采用形象生动、形式多样的教学方法和学生广泛的、积极主动参与的学习方式,就一定能激发学生的学习兴趣;生理上,他们好动、注意力易分散、爱表现自己,希望得到老师的表扬。抓住这一生理特点,一方面要运用直观生动的形象,引发学生的兴趣,使他们的注意力始终集中在课堂上。另一方面要创造条件和机会,让学生有机会表现自己,享受成功的喜悦,从而增强他们对英语学习的自信心,在学习过程中发展综合语言应用能力。
三、教法设计
要想上好一节生动有趣的英语课,精心设计每一个教学步骤、教学环节以及采取切实可行的教学方法是关键所在。新课程标准也要求:英语课要培养学生的学习兴趣,树立学生学习的自信心,养成良好的学习习惯,形成学生综合运用语言进行交际的能力。因此,在整个教学过程中我采用情景教学法、多媒体辅助教学法、合作学习法、小组竞赛法、交际法和任务驱动式教学法等教学方法进行教学,以兴趣吸引人,以情感培育人,以评价激励人、以活动促进人。通过多媒体、实物、体态以及图片等创设富有生活气息的语言情境,让每一个学生参与听、说、读、猜、表演等各种丰富多彩的学习活动,激发学生的学习兴趣。将学习与游戏有机结合,使学生陶醉在轻松、活泼、有趣的课堂活动中,让学生“在玩中学,在学中玩”,循序渐进地、积极主动地去感知、体验和参与合作,形成综合运用语言进行交际的能力。通过听说读写的基本训练,使同学们在轻松愉快的学习氛围中掌握和巩固知识,真正做到寓教于乐。
1、情景教学法
“学语言的目的是为了运用”,而“语言都发生在一定的情境中”。因此,英语教学应当将其置于情景中,从情景教起。情景教学法强调语言在情景中的应用,使学生身临其境,展示具体生动的形象给学生,使教学在生动活泼的情景中进行。最终让学生通过感知具体形象,达到抽象思维的目的,从而激发学生学习英语的兴趣,变被动的跟随为积极主动自觉学习行为。在本课教学里,我主要打算用情景法来贯穿。
2、多媒体辅助教学法
多媒体辅助教学集图象、声音、文字于一体,使教学内容更生动、形象,吸引学生的注意力,使他们在轻松、愉快的氛围中接受新的知识。在课堂教学中,我考虑运用多种电教多媒体辅助教学,使教学内容变难为易。
3、交际法
学习英语,目的在于用英语进行交际。英语要作为交际工具来教,也要作为交际工具来学,做到学用统一。在英语教学中,要使语言形成与学生的生活实际相联系,从而使口语技能发展成运用语言进行交际的能力。要达到这一要求 ,使学生能运用外语进行交际,教师在课堂教学中就要设法结合生活实际,创造交际活动情境,精心设计一些真实的情景,增强学生学习的兴趣,让学生利用所学的语言知识,自由表达自己的思想和见解,提供师生交流、学生与学生交流的机会,让学生在做中学,在实践交流中获得信息,习得英语。在教学中,我遵循这一原则,设计一些比较真实的情景。
4、任务驱动式教学法
任务驱动式教学方法是指在整个教学过程中,教师不直接讲解教学内容,而是把教学内容分解到精心设计的一系列任务中,通过让学生自己完成任务来学习知识、掌握技能。 这种方法对于培养学生分析问题、解决问题的能力,激发和维持学生的学习积极性等有着独特的优势。因此,在教学过程中,我所要求学生掌握的内容都是通过一个个任务来进行,由易到难,由简到繁,让学生在不知不觉完成任务的过程中学到知识。
四、教学手段
主要以多媒体来辅助教学,贯穿整个教学过程。这样增加了直观性和趣味性,加大了课堂密度,提高了教学效果。
五、学法指导

一般情况下,名词词尾加-’s后 ①在清辅音后读作/s/ ;② 在浊辅音或元音后读作/z/;
③在/s/,/z/,/ ∫/等音素后读/Iz/。
(3)名词所有格的用法
名词所有格要用于有生命的东西,但有时也可用于无生命的东西,这主要见于:
①用于表时间的名词后:
tomorrow’s weather 明天的天气 two days’ journey 两天的旅程
比较:ten minutes’ break = a ten-minute break 10分钟的休息
②用于表国家、城市的名词后:
America’s policy 美国的政策 the city’s population 这个城市的人口
③用于某些集合名词后:
the majority’s view 多数人的观点 the government’s policy 政府的政策
④用于组织机构后: the station’s waiting-room 车站候车室
⑤用于度量衡及价值名词后:

注:对于带有连字符已转化为形容词的度量衡,不能用所有格形式:

1、介词短语
介词短语的构成:介词+the / 物主代词/名词所有格+名词等。
(1) 在介词短语中,定冠词the常常不翻译成中文,但the不能省略,是表示特指的。例:behind the door 在门后面
(2) 若介词短语中名词前用了物主代词或名词所有格时,不能再用定冠词the,但名词所有格前可以用the。
例:on his desk 在他的书桌上;in the teacher’s room 在老师的房间里
(3) 专有名词前不能用the。
(4) 表示方位的介词:on, in, behind, between, under等。
on在……上面(紧贴着某物,有面的接触);in 在……里面;behind在……后面;between在……之间;常于and连用;under在……的下面。
2、Where引导的特殊疑问句
由where引导的特殊疑问句意在询问人或者物品所在的位置,句式“where +be+名词”,注意where后的be动词用is还是用are,取决于be动词后面的名词是单数还是复数。答语句式:It is +介词短语 (对应的问句为where is);
They are+介词短语(对应的问句为where are)或者直接用介词短语回答,省略it is或they are。
例:1.—Where is my eraser?
—It’s on the desk. / On the desk.
2.—Where are the keys?
—They are under the bed. / Under the bed.
3、I think it’s in your grandparents’ room. 我认为它在你(外)祖父母的房间里。
变否定句:I don’t think it’s in your grandparents’ room..
当主语是第一人称,think表示“看法”,其后接宾语从句时,若宾语从句表示否定意义,在形式上应该否定前面的主句,这种现象叫否定转移。
(误)I think he is not a teacher.
(正) I don’t think he is a teacher. 我认为他不是一位老师。
4、谈论物品的位置
Where’s + 单数物品?
Where are + 复数物品?
It’s + 介词短语.
They’re + 介词短语.
1) Where’s the baseball? It’s in the backpack. 棒球在哪?在背包里。
2) Where’s my computer game? It’s under the bed.我的电子游戏机在哪?在床下面。
3) Where are your books? They’re on the chair.你的书在哪?在椅子上。
4) Where are the keys? They’re on the dresser. 钥匙在哪?在梳妆台上。
名词前已有作定语的this, that, my, your, some, any, each, every等代词,则不用冠词。

take “带走,拿走”表示从近处带到远处,从说话者的地方带到别的地方。

11、some和any(一些)
1) some一般用于肯定句,any用于否定句和疑问句
①I need some notebooks我需要一些笔本。

2) 在表示请求、建议、征求意见等委婉语气的疑问句中,用some而不用any。
①Can you bring some things to school? 你能带些东西到学校吗?

课堂的完整性
在上第四单元第一课时,为了把第三单元没处理的内容结尾,我在上新课之前先是处理了73页的语音,然后把《同步》上的`shelfcheck边核对答案边讲解,之后,我把单词听写了一下,这就得用了二十多分钟。余下的二十几分钟,匆匆忙忙的赶新课,课前以为Whereis/are…?句型非常简单,结果并不是预想的那样,有的学生连No,itisn’t.都不会读,所以一节课仅仅是上了1a-1c还是效果不好。感觉一节课学生光是忙着按照老师的要求翻书,一会是73页,一会是《同步》,一会是词汇表,一会是19页,一节课下来,学生翻书翻的累,我也因为课堂效果差而非常自责。
第二节课是在七。三,我舍去了语音和第三单元的《同步》,按照一节完整的课进行,教学的思路清晰,层次条理,学生在学习时状态自然,没有上一节课的手忙脚乱,且学生基本能够达到这一节课的学习要求,无论是对话训练还是对话表演,学生的大都能积极的表现,且能有一些时间来做《同步》的课堂练习。
通过两节课的比较,感觉到平时课堂上没处理完的部分练习可以用单独的时间去处理,而不是为了上一节课的完整,在下一节新课之前匆匆结尾,那将是一节支离破碎的课,效果可想而知。
