@陈虹宇chy

@C小暀

@Alexandra-猪猪

@ne_ehs-

@Helsingin

@monica

@思念_

_

@woshichchch

@Nice__

@Lilac

@贾圣_

_

@韵Josie

Task:Some people prefer to provide help and support directly to those in their local community who need it. Others, however prefer to give money to national and international charitable organizations. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Sample answer:

Although people in industrialized countries lead a high standard of living, it is undeniable that there are still 1.2 billion people living below the poverty line. In order to solve poverty-related problems, I feel that all kinds of help should be encouraged and respected.

Giving a helping hand to those who are in need in the local community seems reasonable. It is because even in the richest countries, there are still a lot of people, such as disabled people and orphanages, suffering from famine and extreme poverty. For this reason, it is easy and convenient for us to help our fellow citizens, such as donating food or clothing to them, so that we can see the result of our actions immediately. By contrast, it is rather difficult to track expenditure of international aids, which might result in corruption in some cases.

Those who donate money to domestic and international charities believe that the collection of money has a tremendous effect on the poor countries compared with other forms of help. This is because few people are able to donate a large amount of money to construct schools, hospitals and roads in poor areas. Instead, governments and charities can achieve this. International aids can also purchase vaccines which are available in developed countries by using the money raised worldwide and save millions children’s life.

In my view, minor proportion of donated money and other sorts of help should be appreciated equally as long as the money reaches to those who need it desperately. The government could run campaign and encourage door-to door help. At the same time, charitable organizations should make every penny count for donors.

Task:Some people think that the amount of noise people make have to be controlled strictly, others say that people are free to make as much as they wish. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Sample answer:

Have you ever annoyed by unexpected intrusions of noise that prevents your peaceful trips. Have you exposed to bursts of noise when you work on one task. Have you felt tired of living with chronic city noise day after day.I believe every individual prefer a peaceful and quiet environment to a noisy one.

It is imperative for the government to strictly control the amount of noise in our life. First, a survey can prove my stand,compared with students who attended schools in quiet neighborhoods,the counterparts attended schools near noisy airport are liable to suffer from distraction. Also,the debate reminds me of my experience, as a columnist,I take pleasure in creating new essays in a café and I pay high price for a quiet environment,however,there are,sometimes,two inane babblers to break the silence,I can hardly zero in on work under noisy circumstances . Last, when I made a self-travel in England, I found that all travelers voluntarily switched phones to silent, turned stereos off and kept chatter to a minimum. Conversely, in my city, some people never notice that they become nuisances by talking aloud, playing cell phone music in public. So, fining people for making a din will definitely dissuade the polluter and be proved to be a neat solution.

Others,however,think differently.First, some people argue that the noise might, at first , be quite annoying,however,people might do well at their tasks after a while because humans are capable of adjusting to a manifold noise levels. Further, some people may believe that making noise randomly is a basic right which can never be deprived. Hence,some people are in the habit of having a noisy party or loudly playing musical instrument at home, or constantly honking the horn when driving a car. What I am worried about is that the right of making noise might be abused.

Apparently,every government should be urged to reduce or eliminate the adverse effects of noise.

Task:Nowadays, older people who need employment have to compete with younger people. What problems do this cause? And what are the solutions?

Sample answer:

It is true that a growing number of young adults are faced with increasing competition from the elderly in the workplace. Although there will undoubtedly be some negative consequences of this trend, we can take steps to mitigate these potential problems.

Some related problems can be anticipated. The main issue is that more young employees are likely to suffer unemployment. This is because young employees are relatively restricted in terms of work experience and communication skills, compared with those experienced workers. Therefore, employers prefer to recruit older people with higher working efficiency rather than those who just graduate from the university. In addition, without a decent job and salary, it is extremely difficult for young people to make a living and raise their families, and this poses a threat to social stability since some of them might commit a crime to make a fast buck.

Personally, I feel that governments and academic institutions should work hand in hand to tackle this issue. Most elders of retirement age, especially those living in industrialized countries receive a pension monthly, so there is no need for them to seek a job. In other words, the government should allocate more money to pension system, which can basically guarantee the basic needs of most elders. Besides that, education system should update the curriculum used currently and design more career-oriented courses for job hunters. By doing this, young people can become more competitive in the job market.

In conclusion, I am in the camp that more steps can be taken to improve the wellbeing of the two generations.

Will I get a low Mark if the examiner stops me during the speaking test?

A. The First is For Timing

考生:“I want to say the really really really important thing is …”

B. The Other Reason is to Ask Different Questions, Letting You Use a Wider Range of Language.

Describe an interesting place in public

You should say:

what it is

how you can go there

what people do there

and explain why you think it is an interesting place.

For my job I currently live in the capital city of our country which is ... (say the name of the capital city in your country...). It has been more than 5 years since I left my hometown and yet this is the town where my heart belongs to. I will always remember the days and places where I spent my childhood and teenage, the golden years of my life. The name of my hometown is (...say the name of your hometown...) and it is located in the northern part of the (... say the city/ district name where this town belongs to...). This town will always be special to me, no matter where I go, how far I go. There are many interesting places if I consider from different perspectives in my hometown that I can recall now. Out of these places, the rail station, which is located at the southern corner of our city is the one I would like to talk about.

In my childhood, the rail station in my hometown was the most mysterious and interesting place for us. We, as children, were not allowed to enter the main premises where the train stopped and this prohibition made us more curious about this place. This is still a place which is quite interesting for me. This is possibly because this rail station is the entry and exit point for me- to and from my hometown. When the train drops me in this station, I feel a sensation of being home. On the contrary, during the time of my departure, I feel an acute melancholy that I won't be able to express in words. This place has always been a mystery to me and it is still a place full of happiness, sadness and enigma.

From two other perspectives, this place is quite interesting to me. One- the surrounding view of this station is quite spectacular and would give someone an impression that he is standing on a tall mountain and can see the green fields below all around him. The view gives the first impression of the natural beauty this area has. In fact, I have never seen any other train station which is located in such a higher place and gives such a beautiful view. Second- the different types of people who come here each day is an interesting thing to observe. Some people come here to sell numerous products, some wait for their relatives or family members to arrive, some to see off their relatives or friends, and finally, some are part of the administrative office of the rail authority. In my opinion, this is an interesting hub for people of different ages, places and purposes.

If I am to suggest a foreign tourist about the interesting places of my hometown, I would suggest him to start with this rail station. This rail station will give a very good idea of our town, people and places to be there. To me, this is the gateway to a beautiful town where my heart belongs to.

同学小A,在表达“有能力做某事”的时候总是会写成“can be able to do sth.”。 这是因为他的“语感”告诉他,“can be able to”是一个正确的表达。

第一阶段,系统前错误(presystematic error):学习者对目的语的某些规则不清楚,乱猜而造成错误,也就是我们刚刚提到的“语感”;

第二阶段,系统性错误(systematic error):学习者了解一些目的语规则,但不能正确运用,而且也不能自我纠正;

Nowadays, with the development of the society, there is a tendency that many families buy computer games, so the question of children play computer games often has become a controversial issue, which is heatedly debated by many people.

Nowadays both scientists and tourists can go to remote natural environments such as the South Pole. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

Travelers enjoy South Pore’s landscape, they also leave behind a lot of garbage.”

雅思写作考试主要体型分类为:IDO模式(introduction discussion opinion即引入观点,正反论证和提出结论),PES模式(phenomenon explanation solutions 即现象描述,解释说明和问题解决)和issue模式(to what extant do you agree or disagree)。

I agree with the speaker’s broad assertion that…. However, the speaker unnecessarily extends this broad assertion to embrace…. My points of contention with the speaker involve…, as discussed below.

I concede that the speaker is on the correct philosophical side of this issue. After all, ….

While…, at the same time we should be circumspect about…. After all,….

The speaker’s assertion is troubling in two other respects as well. First, …. Secondly… . For instance…

In sum, the speaker’s assertion that… begs the question, because…. As for the broader assertion, I agree that…. Nevertheless, …. In the final analysis, given … we are forced to strike a balance in how we ….

常见的考试话题范围做如下总结和归纳,希望考生考前做好应对准备:animal experiments; censorship; compete or play; youth drug abuse; e-book or p-book; female juvenile crime; intelligent machines replacement; mandatory retirement age; overweight; corporal punishments; littering problems; evaluate and criticize teachers; cities are becoming lager; the Olympic games; TV and children; vegetarian diet or eating meat; honest and white lies; taking a gap year; capital punishment; job-hopping; censorship of the internet; the disappearance of language and culture; marijuana; government subsidize artists and musicians.

To illustrate it profoundly and comprehensively, I would like to cite what one of my favorite writers Francis Bacon ever mentioned: Histories make men wise; poems witty; the mathematics subtle; natural philosophy deep; moral grave; logic and rhetoric able to contend. We can easily build up an accurate picture of implications behind his/her words.

A do2. I get up in the morning. I go to school happily. 可以转化成: getting up in the morning, I go to school happily.
